Perspective of Therapy
Life can get tough. Stressful events and emotional challenges can feel overwhelming, confusing, and, at times, lead to a sense of numbness. In those moments, it is not always easy to manage everything on our own.

I believe that we learn, grow, and heal through relationships - and the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful starting point. It offers a supportive space to explore who we are, understand the roots of our struggles, and reflect on our relationship with ourselves and others. Therapy can also help us recognise how we are shaped by our environments and how we might navigate their impact on our lives and connections.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution. People are complex and unique – just like their experiences and relationships. I see therapy as a unique opportunity for connection, where clients can safely learn about themselves. I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey of self-discovery, insight, and transformation.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly about your difficulties and express your feelings. Together, we can explore patterns in your relationships, uncover their roots, and consider the role you play within them. This increased self-awareness can open the door to new, healthier ways of relating, communicating, and healing - while also gaining a deeper understanding of the external factors that influence your behaviours and attitudes.

I am a Relational Integrative Therapist who believes that the relationship between client and therapist is central to therapeutic change. I work holistically, drawing primarily from humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment and systemic approaches. I also incorporate some elements of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) where appropriate.
